The Sanju Samson-Ravindra Jadeja trade deal between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals has been completed, the IPL confirmed on Saturday morning.
RR will receive both Jadeja and England all-rounder Sam Curran in the deal with Samson heading in the opposite direction to CSK ahead of the IPL retentions on Saturday, November 15.
As per the press release, Jadeja’s trade from CSK to RR has been confirmed and his league fee has now been revised to Rs 14 crore from Rs 18 crore. Samson, on the other hand, has been traded to five-time champions CSK for his existing league fee of Rs 18 crore. Sam Curran has been traded from CSK to RR for Rs 2.4 crore.
Another surprise deal is that of Nitish Rana, with the veteran making his move from RR to DC at a price of Rs 4.2 crore. Donovan Ferreira has been traded from DC to RR at a revised league fee of Rs 1 crore.
