England cricket team batter Joe Root slammed a second successive century against Sri Lanka on Day 3 of the 2nd Test at Lord’s on Saturday.
Following the century, Root created History by becoming the first English batter in history to score 34 Test centuries.

It was the first time in history that Root has managed to score a century in both innings of a Test match.
This was Root’s 50th International century, making him only the 9th player in history to have 50 or more tons.
