New Delhi: Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has stamped his entry into the apparel market as he launched his sportswear brand under the Hardik Pandya brand name in collaboration with FanCode Shop, the merchandising platform of FanCode.
In the latest deal signed between Pandya and FanCode, the latter has agreed to design, manufacture and market the products under the brand name of Hardik Pandya. Moreover, according to various sources, the apparel will be first available in Mumbai and subsequently scaled up to different cities. So far the debut collection is expected to include t-shirts, vests, polos, shorts and jackets. However, Pandya dropped hints at the launch event in Mumbai that the brand will expand to different verticals in the coming years.
When asked about the latest venture with FanCode, Hardik Pandya remarked with a smile, “I am excited to see this come alive..” The Indian all-rounder further added that the brand has an identity similar to his which he wants to give back to the fans who have supported him through thick and thin.”
Pandya’s brand value stood at $38.4 million last year, according to an analysis by advisory firm Kroll. He made his debut in 2022 in the list of most valuable Indian celebrities with a brand value of $34.8 million.
