Reminding legend MS Dhoni’s signature, Rashid Khan pulled off a helicopter shot on Saturday when Welsh Fire took on Trent Rockets in Match 14 of The Hundred 2024 at Trent Bridge.
Luke Wells was at the receiving end, as he was completely thumped by Rashid’s wrist work. Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who was placed near boundary line, gave his best to stop the six, but failed to do so despite valiant effort.
However, Rashid’s breezy cameo, which had a six and a four in a 8-ball 13, did not help Trent Rockets to get over the line despite coming to small chase of 130 in Nottingham. The Rockets closed on 125/8, with Alex Hales top-scoring with a 16-ball 23.
