In a thrilling match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium during the ongoing Delhi Premier League (DPL) T20, Central Delhi Kings triumphed over Purani Dilli 6 by a massive 109 runs. The Kings set an imposing target of 218, showcasing dominant performances with both bat and ball.

The Kings’ innings was spearheaded by robust contributions from opener Dhruv Kaushik, who scored a quickfire 38 runs off just 19 balls, Hiten Dalal, and captain Jonty Sidhu. Sidhu’s half-century came off merely 21 balls and included three boundaries and four sixes, while Aryan Rana played a commendable unbeaten knock of 75 runs in 38 balls to ensure a formidable total of 217/7 in their 20 overs.

In response, Purani Dilli 6 struggled against the disciplined bowling of Central Delhi Kings. Shivam Sharma was the top scorer for his team with 36 runs, but the opposition’s bowlers, led by Sumit Kumar who took 4/22, along with Money Grewal and Jonty Sidhu, who scalped three wickets each, restricted Purani Dilli 6 to 108 all out in 12.1 overs, concluding a dominant performance by the Kings.
